A biographical Sports Drama Thriller that is based on true events, Concussion chronicles the story of distinguished forensic pathologist Dr. Bennett Omalu, who first discovered chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) brain degeneration – a specific kind of brain trauma suffered by footballers. After conducting the autopsy of former Pittsburgh Steelers center Mike Webster, who died a very unnatural death, Dr. Omalu realizes the existence of an injury that was exclusive to footballers.
